When I first read his books, I thought he had a very strong voice in political view and especially the government’s view.

He might be seemed as an anti-government, but he certainly wanted to spread the idea of true leaders in this country.

There are several elements; plot, character, setting, point of view, style, tone, language, theme, symbolism, allegory, and image.

I thought the elements of fiction would be little bit limited in its characteristic way.

I found out that I had few misunderstanding on the definition of symbolism, allegory, and image. And it helped me to learn exact true meanings of each category.

He set up the idea of the power of the media, he made an example in his neighbors gossip.

He wanted to find out what had been discovered during waiting someone.

Basically, this fiction shows the meaningful moment in the author’s teenage life and he wanted to share with the readers about his experience.

His teenage life was lonely but exciting at the same time, he had good friends and family. It made me to remembering my teenage life.

Modern love symbolizes the dilemma the writer has faced in her life and it helps if the situations a contemporary edge. I learned that the writers should be emotionally honest and the story be freshly and compellingly told.

Even though I assumed the writers are quite honest and emotional, I could not wonder, is it really true and is it really the author’s intention?

This essay made me think that the writers’ potentials and requirements.

The U.S. is known as a multiracial nation with various cultural values. In this story, I learned about the moral code and found out that each culture has a different moral code and value.

I did not understand what cultural relativism meant. Cultural relativism is in essence an approach to the question of the nature and role of values in culture.

I realized that it also characterizes the way most individuals feel about their own culture.

Therefore, people should treat and respect each other’s cultural value like they do for their own cultural value.

The story was about Boston Massacre that happened between soldiers and mobs. Violation brought more violation and hatred brought more hatred. As the author of this story say, this massacre was a horrible revolution. The soldiers could have tried and persuaded pigeons in a more gentle way. If they had done like this, peace would have been continued.

Mob tried to fight as long as they could. It was really a terrible incident and I could not understand why they had fought and hated each other so much. Killing people was not the right way to resolve any problem.

The Hacker handbook made me to realize the importance of the writing skills, such as grammar and different formats of writing. Writing an essay is like creating a great work from nothing. I personally do not like any complication on writing, because I used to think it would be obviously boring. But after reading this story I found out the charm of the writing. There are various ways and formats for writing. I want to find out more about writing skills.

The author of this story Carl Sagon was well known astronomer. Through his famous work, the cosmic calendar, we could learn about the dates, stars, milky way galaxy, surfaces, and even an estimate of the time called the Big Bang. I couldn’t imagine that living on the other planet other than the earth. The construction of this calender was humbling. However, his observation had made today’s cycle of the world, such as looking up on the space to predict the weather and look up the calender to estimate the time.
